Shipping & Returns
Placed orders will be processed and sent out within 24 hours Monday through Thursday. Orders placed on Fridays, weekends and public holidays will be processed within 24 hours of the first working day. If for any reason we are unable to meet our 24 hour dispatch we will contact you.
All shipments are sent via track and trace with a signature required upon delivery. If for any reason you wish to have signature required removed from your order, please note this in the shipping instructions of your order. By requesting this service be removed, your are acknowledging that BESS is not accountable for any lost or stolen orders and that your order will not be covered by insurance.
When receiving a consignment that may be torn open, or damaged in any way, please note this with the carrier when signing for the goods. Signing for a parcel without any notifications confirms it has been received by the purchaser in good condition.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email which will include your tracking details. You can track your order by using the tracking number provided which will link through to the postal company. We use GoSweetSpot for our courier and frieght services.
Please note, that we are unable to deliver to P.O Boxes as we require a signature upon delivery.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your BESS purchase and we are certain you will love it. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied, return the items in their original condition within 7 working days of the post-marked date for a full refund less shipping costs. Item must return to us with tags on and in their original packaging. We recommend tracked shipping, if items are lost in transit they will not be compensated for.
Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment unless store credit, or a replacement item is requested. Please note sale items are not eligible for a refund, exchanges or store credit.
All returns will be subject to inspection. BESS reserves the right to refuse a full refund based on the returned condition of the item.

Duties & Taxes
Orders from outside of New Zealand may be subject to import duties and/or taxes, these are levied once your package reaches your country. Your order is shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means that the prices displayed at checkout are exclusive of all import taxes and duties.
We are unable to calculate the exact amount of duties and taxes your package will incur as these charges are imposed directly by your local customs office are are subject to change. The international carrier may invoice you for the local taxes and duties, or you may have to contact your local customs directly to organise payment and release of your package.
If an item is held for 5 days at customs or with the delivery provider with no response from the recipient it will unfortunately be sent back to us at BESS. The cost of this return postage and the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund of the item.
Standard Delivery Costs and Timeframes
Monday to Thursday - 1-2 days for delivery.
Friday / Saturday / Sunday / Public Holidays - Shipped Tuesday.
3-5 days for delivery.
5-7 days for delivery.
